| Due to insistent public demand on creating a new basketball tournament, TBL Committee has decided to grant its members’ request and is now on the process of formalizing the creation of a new league.
|
The new league’s name is not yet released as of press time. The playing level of the new league is E(+). This level is a degree higher than E. But a notch lower than D. Six teams have already expressed their desire in participating in the said league. These are ARDC, Azure, Beltmaster, Casumina, Dream Team, and JMRT. TBL Officer Serafin Cu Jr. is still negotiating with three other interested teams. The new league is targeting around eight(8) to ten(10) teams. The pilot season will start at the second week of August 2010. Games will be held at Arellano Legarda Gymanasium every Tuesdays and Thurdays. First game is set at 7:45PM while the Second game is set at 9:00PM. |

F-League: Min. Of 8 Games to Qualify |

 The organizers of F-League or popularly known as the "Privilege League" has announced that the minimum number of games to qualify in the next round is eight(8) games. All players should be present for atleast 8 games. For those who are injured and cannot play, they should be present on their team's game schedule and have their attendance checked by the table officials. The player should present a valid reason for not playing and should watch the entire game before the their attendance would be considered. "Ginagawa natin ito noon pa para maiwasan ang surprise player sa play-off round" says one of the organizers. |
